Prior
Lake Area Parks
The city of Prior Lake prides itself on its
park system. Over 30 parks, of varying sizes, offer summer and winter
recreational opportunities. The community has two public beaches, two
public accesses to Prior Lake, nine softball fields, six baseball diamonds,
eight soccer/football fields, five horseshoe pits, four sand volleyball
courts, two tennis courts and a skate park. Most of the parks also have
playground equipment. Several parks have shelters, restrooms and electrical
outlets. These areas can be reserved for group picnics at a daily rate
of $50 resident fee or $100 non-resident fee. To reserve one of these
areas contact City Hall at 447-4230.
