Medallion Hunt

        July 12- Fourteen lakes each with its own history;

                        Near which I lie is the mystery.

Tuesday,  July 29   Business Expo/Wine Tasting/Silent Auction

 

To start Lakefront Days off, there is a Business Expo (who is participating), wine tasting and a silent auction under the big tents at Lakefront Park.  The business expo/wine tasting starts at 6:30 to 9 p.m., while the silent auction ends at 8:15.  Come early and get a bite to eat from O'Malley's.  The proceeds from the silent auction goes towards Saturday nights fireworks.  The tickets are $10 from Viking Liquor Barrel until July 28 (corner of Highway 21 and Highway 13) or at the door the tickets are $15.  Tickets are limited.

 

 

Wednesday, July 30  Fish, Kiddie Parade, Frozen T-shirts, Motorcycle Cruise, Cuts for Charity, Texas Hold'Em, Bean Bag Toss Tournament

 

Food Tent:  Village Market will be bbq'ing in the food tent.  Come early to grab a bite to eat while you fish, watch the Kiddie Parade, admire the motorcycles before/after they cruise in Scott County, play Texas Hold'Em or play bean bag toss.

 

Fish on Wednesday at 4 p.m. sharp at Lakefront Park, a family interactive event.  Rods and reels provided.

 

Kiddie Parade:  This event is sponsored by YMCA and Parties Made Simple and is in its third year.  This event is for kids under 10, decorate your bike, trike, wagon and come out to display your decorations.  Pre-register please.  All children must be supervised by an adult.  Limited.

 

Frozen T-shirt:  Yes, we said frozen, sign up to attempt to put on a frozen t-shirt and be the fastest to do it!

 

Cuts for Charity:  Mary's On Main Salon Studio is sponsoring $10 haircuts.  All proceeds will go to Alpha Pregnancy Resource Center.  Cut only. 

 

Motorcycle Cruise:  Registration begins at 5 p.m.  the first 150 registrations will receive a custom made Lakefront Days motorcycle cruise pin.  The cruise will leave Lakefront Park at 6:30 for a scenic 45 minute cruise in Scott County.  There is a $5 registration fee.

 

Texas Hold-Em: This is the 3rd year of hosting Texas Hold-em.  Registration starts at 5 p.m. at the Lakefront ticket booth.

 

PlayNTrade Video Games Wii Home Run Derby-  Try your skill on the Wii for the longest homerun and highest score.  Chances are $1 and prizes will be given away.

 

Bean  Bag Toss Tournament:   Everyone can play this fun game.  The cost is $10 per two person  team and the winners will receive cash as their winnings. 

 

 

Thursday, July 31

City Sponsored Citizen Appreciation Ice Cream Social:  Join us for this fun evening of good music and fun food!   The Blue Ox Jazz Band kicks off entertainment in the band shell from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.  During their break, the Premiere Dance Academy will perform showing their best steps.  Following the Blue Ox Jazz Band, will be the crowning event of the evening with the Prior Lake Sailor/Sailorette winning candidates announced.  Throughout the evening, the annual citizen appreciation Dinner for a Dollar will be offered (hot dog or brat/chips/beverage) along with ice cream treats.

Hall of Fame 

The sixth Lakers Hall of Fame induction banquet will be held at the Wilds Golf Club beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dinner and induction ceremonies will follow.  Call Prior Lake High School for more information at 952-226-8600.                           

                                

Friday, August 1

Golf Tournament

The annual Lakers Hall of Fame golf tournament.  Tournament will be shotgun start at7:30 am.  Call Prior Lake High School for more information at 952-226-8600.

 

Teddy Bear Picnic and Story, 11:30 am at Prior Lake Library

Bring your bag lunch and teddy bear to the Prior Lake Library and let’s have a picnic outside and listen to this popular story hour

 

Car Cruise

The thirteenth annual classic car cruise.  Registrations begins at 5 p.m. at Lakefront Park.  The cars will leisurely drive around Prior Lake leaving the park at 6:45 p.m.  Several awards will be handed out.  To be in the car cruise, there is a $5 charge, but the viewing is free to all spectators.

 

Non Profit Food Tent

It is our 6th annual non profit food tent.  Five non profits were chosen to participate in this event.  They will be making and serving an array of different foods for their organizations.  They are: Prior Lake Boys Swim and Dive, Prior Lake Girls Swim and Dive, Uplifters of SOLLC, Prior Lake Cross Country Ski Team, Chloe T. Foundation.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament-Sign up at PLHS between 8:30 and 9 am.  Play begins at 9 am. Cost is $5 per team.

Body Rox Bootcamp 8 am

Starting at Lakefront Park Pavilion, a fast-paced walking circuit around Prior Lake's Lake Front Park with alternating cardio and resistance/strength stations. This is truly an invigorating outdoor workout capitalizing on our beautiful surroundings and the mild seasonal weather.  We will be meeting at 8:00 a.m. at the pavilion.

 

Pancake Breakfast-

Get your tickets from any Integra Telecom's Walkin N Talkin Relay for Life Team member.  Breakfast will be served from 9 to 11:30 am at Lakefront Park.

 

Community Worship Service

At 10 am in the bandshell, there will be a community wide worship service.  Live music.
